Frequently Asked Questions

Have questions? We've got answers!
We've compiled answers to some of the most frequently asked questions about the 1A Soccer Homeschool Program. If you don't see what you're looking for, feel free to contact us—we're always happy to help.

Who is this program for?

The 1A Soccer Homeschool Program is designed for homeschool athletes ages U8–U14 who want to continue developing their soccer skills in a structured and positive environment. Whether your child currently plays recreational, club, or simply enjoys the game, our coaches will group players appropriately to provide an engaging and challenging training experience.

Does my child need previous soccer experience?

Yes. While players do not need to compete at a high level, the 1A Soccer Homeschool Program is designed for athletes who have some prior soccer experience and are looking to continue developing their skills. The focus of the program is on technical development, game understanding, and building confidence rather than introducing the fundamentals of the sport for the first time.

If you're unsure whether the program is the right fit for your child, we'd be happy to discuss their experience and help determine the best training option.

What should my child bring?

Players should come prepared with everything they need for an active training session, including:

- Soccer cleats or athletic shoes

- Shin guards

- A full water bottle

- Comfortable athletic clothing appropriate for the weather

- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn!

All enrolled players will receive an official 1A Soccer Training Shirt as part of their registration.

What if my child misses a session?

We understand that schedules can change. If you need to miss a Homeschool Program session, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance to remain eligible for a make-up session.

Eligible make-up sessions may be completed in a Wednesday or Thursday evening class, subject to availability. All make-up sessions must be used by November 18, 2026, the final day of the Fall Session.

Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours' notice are not eligible for a make-up.

Can my child join after the program has started?

Yes! Families may register after the Fall Session has begun if space is still available.

Tuition may be prorated based on the number of remaining sessions, and all registrations are subject to availability. We recommend registering early to reserve your child's spot.

How many players are in the program?

The 1A Soccer Homeschool Program is designed to provide a quality training experience in a structured group setting. We aim to keep class sizes manageable so that each player receives individual attention while still benefiting from training and competing with their peers.

Enrollment is limited, and spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Are make-up sessions available?

Yes. Players who provide at least 24 hours' notice before a missed session are eligible for a make-up class.

Make-up sessions may be completed in an eligible Wednesday or Thursday evening class, subject to availability, and must be used before the end of the current Homeschool Program session.
